Paul Groves takes his first dose of LSD while experiencing the heartbreak and ambivalence of divorce from his beautiful but adulterous wife. He starts his trip with a "guide," John but runs away and abandons out of fear.

Sam Cooke - Ain't That Good News (1964)

Sam Cooke was an African-American gospel, R&B, soul, and pop singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is considered to be one of the pioneers and founders of soul music.
Ain't That Good News was the final album to be issued during Cooke's lifetime, before his death at the age of 33. Released in 1964 on RCA Victor Records.

The Wild Angels (1966)

The Wild Angels is a 1966 Roger Corman film. 'Heavenly Blues' is the name of the leader of Hell's Angels chapter from Venice, California and 'Loser' is his best pal. When 'Heavenly Blues' and 'Loser' both botch their attempt to retrieve Loser's stolen bike, Loser ends up in the hospital. When the Angels bust him out, he dies, and they bury him. The plot is basically a buildup to the last half-hour of the film in which Loser's funeral becomes another wild party.
