Pandora and the Flying Dutchman is a 1951 British drama film. In 1930, singer Pandora Reynolds, gorgeous, enigmatic, and fascinated by danger and destruction, has the men of a small Spanish town in despair. Just when race driver Stephen Cameron thinks he's won her, a mysterious yacht appears in the bay whose eerie captain may be the legendary Flying Dutchman. Stephen has an apparently more dangerous rival in the form of an arrogant bullfighter; but Pandora's friendship with the Dutchman may lead them both to a rendezvous with Fate.

Ned Doheny is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist from Malibu, California who has recorded five albums as well as performing on many albums by other artists including compatriots Don Henley and Glenn Frey of the Eagles, J.D. Souther, Linda Ronstadt, and Jackson Browne (with whom he was once in a band).
Hard Candy was the second solo album by Ned Doheny released in 1976 for Columbia Records. It features his version of "Love of Your Own" (written with Hamish Stuart) which was also recorded with Stuart's Average White Band the same year. It also includes the original version of “Get It Up for Love” which was covered by Táta Vega in 1979. Her version was a Top 20 dance single.

The Wild Angels is a 1966 Roger Corman film. 'Heavenly Blues' is the name of the leader of Hell's Angels chapter from Venice, California and 'Loser' is his best pal. When 'Heavenly Blues' and 'Loser' both botch their attempt to retrieve Loser's stolen bike, Loser ends up in the hospital. When the Angels bust him out, he dies, and they bury him. The plot is basically a buildup to the last half-hour of the film in which Loser's funeral becomes another wild party.

The Monterey International Pop Music Festival was a three-day concert event held June 16 to June 18, 1967 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California. It was notable as hosting the first major American appearances by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who, and Eric Burdon & the New Animals as well as the first major public performances of Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin). It was also the first major performance by Otis Redding in front of a predominantly white audience. The Monterey Pop Festival embodied the themes of California as a focal point for the counterculture and is generally regarded as one of the beginnings of the "Summer of Love" in 1967.
Bill LaBounty is an American musician. He was initially a singer-songwriter in the soft rock genre, first as a member of the band Fat Chance, and later as a solo artist. As a solo artist, LaBounty recorded six studio albums, including four on Curb Records/Warner Bros. This album is the fourth one and was released in 1982.
